Halloween

This year, Logan dressed as a monkey for Halloween.  We wanted Evan to be a safari hunter, and thought that would be a cute costume to go with Logan's monkey.  Unfortunately, Evan didn't want anything to do with the pith helmet.

Logan didn't seem to mind the helmet at all.

We were going to a Halloween activity at the Air Force Museum. He doesn't look dressed up because he's missing his helmet.
So, we went into Walmart to try and find another costume, and found the PERFECT costume for him, considering how much Evan loves trains.

So cute.  He LOVED the choo-choo hat and clothes.
The day before Evan's birthday (on a Sunday?) and we made some sugar cookies.  The boys loved decorating the cute cookies.  They had so much fun helping us, even though they made a huge mess.

We had a great time at the trunk or treat, and we had fun, even though he really didn't know anyone in our ward, so that was kind of awkward.  Rick went as a jedi, Evan was the railroad engineer, Logan was the monkey and I went as Annabeth from the Percy Jackson books (basically I just wore my Camp Half-Blood shirt).

I don't think I have pictures from the actual Halloween day, but it was "rained" out, and they moved everything indoors.  We heard that there was a lot of trick-or-treaters, so we had so much candy we went to the activity indoors, and just gave out handfuls of candy.  And, hearing from someone at the activity we heard that the past three years Halloween (or what they call Beggar's Night here in Ohio) has been rained out.

Anyways, we had a great Halloween!
