Boonshoft Discovery Museum

Last Saturday we went to this museum in Dayton.  They had a really nice children's section.  Evan also happened to go this past Tuesday for a preschool field trip.

We didn't last longer than two hours at the museum though, because I was getting exhausted.

And Evan has this thing where he does the potty dance constantly.  Evan is crazy.  He HATES going potty out in public, and he makes himself so uncomfortable and drives me nuts, because most of the pictures I took consisted of him with an iron grip on his crotch.

Anyways, we ended up getting a membership, so it's a place we can take the boys through the year.

They had this awesome water mechanics table that Evan loved watching.

Logan was so overwhelmed with how awesome it is.

Evan and Rick in the little play house.

Evan and Logan playing together.

They LOVED the latches board.

Logan liked the gears but he couldn't reach the wall to put them up.  SOOOO short!

Evan LOVED playing with the water table.

Evan loved the big slide.

Logan got scared on the slide. HA HA.  So funny.

Rick pointing out the rain to Evan (we're working with him on weather)

Digging through the fossil pit.

Logan climbing up the stairs.  He didn't want to be carried (and I refused to carry him anyway)

There's a little zoo in the museum and the boys loved the animals.

Playing in the veterinary clinic.  He loved these stuffed animals.

Bird watching

Logan just sat and read his bird book.

Logan had a hard time looking out the window at the birdies.

They had so much fun.  We're looking forward to exploring the Dayton area some more, maybe when it warms up.  I am so not used to the cold.  The other day I heard the song "California Dreamin" on the radio the other morning, and I almost wanted to cry.  This cold, snowy, frigid weather is really wearing on me.
